Terms of use

Sample version: sample-2026-10-23 · 23 October 2026

These sample terms describe the intended use of the ZaraLearn school-management application during testing. They are not an approved agreement for production use.

1. Authority to register a school

The person creating a workspace should be authorised to act for the school and provide accurate registration details. Do not register a school or use an identity without permission.

2. Accounts and school access

Keep login credentials private and use only the workspace and roles assigned to you. School administrators manage membership, invitations and linked-child access. Report unexpected access to the school administrator.

3. Acceptable use

Use the service for authorised school activities. Do not upload unlawful or harmful material, access another person’s records without permission, interfere with the service or attempt to bypass access restrictions. Use fictional student and family information in test workspaces.

4. School records and uploaded content

Schools and users are responsible for checking the accuracy of information they enter and for having permission to upload or share it. Administrators should review sensitive communications, results and charges before publishing them.

5. School fees and software billing

School-fee charges are managed by the school and are separate from any software subscription. Guardians should review the school-fee amount, processing charge and total shown before checkout. A payment remains pending until confirmed by the payment service. Questions about school charges should go to the school.

6. Test payments and service availability

Use payment-provider test details while testing. Do not assume that a successful browser redirect confirms payment or settlement. Features may be unavailable or change during testing; keep independent copies of any information needed to evaluate the service.

7. Privacy

Read the accompanying sample Privacy Policy for an overview of intended information handling. Approved privacy practices, retention periods and service-provider arrangements must be established before real school information is processed.

8. Ending a test and future terms

Contact the administrator when a test account is no longer required. Final commercial terms, cancellation and refund rules, support commitments and applicable legal provisions must be supplied and reviewed before the service is launched for production use.
